Aug. 8
to 8, 2026

The upcoming fall session, which will take place from October 26 to 30, 2026, is designed as a simulation of international climate change negotiations, during which students will renegotiate the Paris Agreement by taking on the roles of diplomats and representing various countries. Over the course of a week, you will examine international climate change policy in the lead-up to the next COP in Turkey.

You’ll explore the causes and consequences of climate change, the history of climate negotiations, the positions of key countries, the Paris Agreement, and the transition to a clean economy. Drawing on the instructor’s experience as an EU diplomat at the UN, the program offers a unique behind-the-scenes look at climate diplomacy.

👉An opportunity to reflect, share, and better understand the issues at stake in the COPs.
